Adding Peanut Butter to an existing cookie recipe?
I have been looking and trying different chocolate chip oatmeal cookie recipes for years and finally found one that is to die for. I would like to add peanut butter. Should I add the peanut butter and cut the amount of butter? Ex: original recipe calls for 1 cup of butter. Should I use 1/2 butter and then 1/2 of peanut butter?
I know I should just try it out but I hate to waste the ingredients. Thanks
Found my answer: yes I’m right, cut the butter like my example.
replace some of the butter with an equal amount of peanutbutter.
